I want to send several streams of audio from PD (or Max MSP) into processing. The idea is that PD will run a patch with generative audio. This patch will also split this audio into 3 or more separate frequency bands. The signal from each of these bands is then to be sent to Processing so that each can be visually reacted to separately.
I hope the above made sense. Does anyone know a typical technique to achieve this?
