How to sync audio to video?

Hello,

i made a sketch, where the visuals react to the amplitute of the sound thats played, i used the normal sound library from processing. When i used the built in movie maker tool the audio and the video was completely out of sync. My laptop isnt fast enough to record the screen, how would i fix this problem?
